Thunder FluxNode (Cumulus Fractus) Build Under $250!

In the last post, I covered how to build your very own Cumulus FluxNode for under $100. In this article, I will describe how to build the new upcoming Thunder FluxNode (Cumulus Fractus) for an additional $120-$150!

The Flux team announced a new node tier group Project Thunder, for a mass-storage solution that will be capable of hosting more dApps on the network. As of this writing, only the Cumulus variety (Cumulus-Fractus), specifications are known. The cumulus nodes are currently earning around 20% APY on staked Flux. With Thunder, the node operators will be able to earn more Flux to be determined at a later date.

Flux Cumulus Fractus Node Requirements:

Staking Requirement:
1000 FLUX for node staking

Hardware Requirements:
2 Cores
4 Threads
8 GB RAM
9200 GB HHD partition (10TB or higher drive)
80 MB/s DWS (Disk Write Speed)
240 EPS (CPU Events Per Second)
100 Mb/s download/upload speed
VPS and ARM64 compatible
